Christopher Robinson (COL ’09) awoke Sunday morning to find a man rifling through his belongings at the foot of his bed in Kennedy Hall.
Robinson said that he woke up at 9 a.m. and went to the bathroom. He returned to his room for a short nap before going to church, leaving his door unlocked. At around 9:10, he heard a man moving around in his room.

Student Allegedly Robbed at Gunpoint
A Georgetown graduate student was reportedly robbed at gunpoint on Prospect Street early Saturday morning, sustaining a small injury beneath his eye before his assaulters fled the scene.
Zachary Levey (GRD ’08) reported that around 3:20 a.m., two men approached him as he was walking alone on the 3400 block of Prospect Street. One of the men asked him for a cigarette.

Shortly before Georgetown University shut down for winter break, a graduate student reported being assaulted and robbed. Although it was the third reported violent robbery involving Georgetown students in less than a month, safety officials maintained that crime was not on the rise.

A Georgetown graduate student was allegedly robbed at gunpoint by three men last Friday at 6:10 p.m., less than a block from the Lauinger Library steps.
The victim, who wished to remain anonymous, said he was walking on the 3600 block of N Street from Lauinger Library to the Car Barn when a man approached him on the sidewalk.

Assailant Released After Assault
A Georgetown graduate and a visitor to campus were reportedly assaulted in separate incidents on campus over consecutive days.
One student was arrested in response to the second assault, which took place on Saturday afternoon, but no charges were pressed after the victim, his girlfriend, said that the incident had been exaggerated by authorities.
Local Stores Vandalized During Labor Protest
Georgetown was taken by storm Friday night.
With streets drenched by rain, M Street and parts of Wisconsin Avenue were shut down for several minutes around 9:30 as dozens of protesters marched in opposition to an international finance meeting taking place this weekend, vandalizing two retail establishments and injuring a woman on the 1200 block of Wisconsin, according to multiple news sources.
Protestors threw bricks at the storefronts of Abercrombie and Fitch and United Colors of Benetton, breaking a window in each and hitting a bystander in the head.
Metropolitan Police Department Executive Director of the Office of Communications Tracie Hughes said that two protesters were arrested.
