Inauguration Passes in High Demand

Following last week’s historic presidential election, congressional and Senate offices are being flooded with requests for tickets to the 56th inaugural ceremonies this upcoming January. Inauguration tickets will be distributed through members of the 111th Congress, free of charge, granting entrance to the swearing-in ceremonies.

Pretty in Pink: Adelfi 'Making Strides Against Breast Cancer'

The National Mall will be flooded with pink this Sunday, as local women and men come out to support the annual the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk.

In its fifth year, the D.C. walk has already raised $193,684.77, according to the Making Strides Web site.

Students Left out of E-mail Update

Georgetown professors may soon see the end of the over-capacity warnings from Georgetown’s e-mail server. Students, however, are not so lucky.

By Nov. 3, faculty and staff at Georgetown can expect to see major improvements in their e-mail accounts, but student accounts will not be changed or updated.
