Trigg, a junior quarterback, will enter Saturday’s contest as perhaps the best passer in the Patriot League. He boasts a 175.54 quarterback rating and a completion percentage of 72.3 percent on the season, both of which lead the league.

The Hoyas played perhaps their best match of the season Tuesday night, yet it wasn’t quite enough. The young Georgetown squad (0-10) fell 2-1 to Rider University (3-6) in a home overtime contest at the University of Maryland Field Hockey & Lacrosse Complex.

What a difference a year makes.

After sweeping through the Georgetown Classic this weekend with victories over St. Francis College, Morgan State and Brown, the Hoyas (6-3) have already surpassed their victory total — five wins — from a season ago.
