Nice, a warm body at the very least. Seems rough around the edges (defensive rebounding is apparently a concern), but his unknown status doesn't concern me too much (see, e.g., John Wallace). All in all, this could be a very solid pickup. Williams would certainly be a nice add-on as well...

I am happy with this pick up because he seems like a solid role playing guard who can shoot and is not afraid to take it to the basket. It looks like Coach JTIII is going after role players and the pickup of L. Williams will only make it better. We need more kids who are going to come to Georgetown, go to class, play four years, and graduate. If we win some conference/conference tournaments along with NCAA final fours that will also be great but I just want to see four years of non-transfer/players leaving before they are ready. While greatness is always the goal, consistent mediocrity is much better then inconsistent success!

you can recruit all day long but at the end of the day whats the purpose of recruiting certain players if you only going to handicap thier talent. you have to let these players loose sometime because this year they just played soft. start recruiting in dc and get some of those michael graham types because these players seem like they are at business meeting instead of a basketball game.

Nice article Coach T, and I hea ya, yes, the pieces to the puzzle, the heart, the determination, the smarts, courage, the fierceness, the sense of urgency, the hard work will pay off, and get these young men to understand and to know what it's like to wear the Georgetown name across their chest yes, yes, yes, that go hard go get it mentality, running and pressing, gets the legs loose, and when you get the legs loose the wings start flapping and players start flying with such great creativity and grace, the guards knowing when to set the offense up and execute. Thats were the smart play comes in, starts off with the the point guard, knowing when, how and what decision to make at all times, and knowing how many team fouls opponents have, the score, the clock. Let's Go Hard Hoyas because WE ARE GEORGETOWN!!!

Oh, Mr. Lindsey, I don't agree with the "softness" statement, I respect your opinion, but we beat great college teams this year with lots of heart, I think the words are "smarter, some unexperience"...Just talking from what I've seen, it's the small things that add up to the big picture...

Inbounds plays, bench standing after great play such as getting a loose ball, a block, a tough defensive stop, it keeps players focused on the game, so when the players get in the game, they've felt like they were already in the game except they weren't on the court, lol, presssssss, with them long arms "spread out" in the press, can you imagine the tips and steals we would get having these great "athletes", man, get all out of them young guys you can, they have full tankssssssss, I could go on and on, but I gotta go The Hoya, it's been real, and more respectful discussion is expected...LG!

JTIII needs to start recruiting better at home. He let Duke, NC, Villa of all people come right in and take over DC and Virginia. Thats why you cant win because you cant recruit. I am a long standing hoya and I bleed blue, but you have to do better at recruiting in the DC and Virginia and not settle for whats left over. It's sad to say but JTIII won with Erickson recruits

Coach,

I know I don't have to tell you we still need 2-3 more big bodies. 6'7" skinny kids won't cut it at syracuse, pittsburgh and uconn! good luck.

A LOYAL FAN FOREVER! GO HOYAS!
