The complainant reported finding a damaged door and papers missing from the area. The Metropolitan Police Department was also notified.

A report was filed with the Department of Public Safety in reference to evidence of unknown persons tampering with mailboxes in the area.

Burglary, 36th Street, NW, 7:28 p.m.
The complainant reported the theft of computers and other electronic equipment. MPD was also notified.

The complainant reported the theft of electronic equipment. MPD was notified.

Drug Violation, LXR, 2:13 a.m.
Drugs and drug paraphernalia were found and removed from the area.

Harassment, Lauinger Library, 7:21 p.m.
The complainant reported being followed and receiving unwanted email. The suspect was identified.

Theft, Off Campus, 10:53 a.m.
The complainant reported the theft of a laptop.

Theft, Reiss Science Building, 2:07 p.m.
The complainant reported the theft of a laptop.

Wednesday, Dec. 19
Drug Violation, Village B, 1:00 a.m.
Drugs and drug paraphernalia were found and removed from the area.

Thursday, Dec. 20
Suspicious Activity, Village B, 12:50 p.m.
DPS received a report of possible drug-related activities in the area. Drugs were found and removed.

Suspicious Activity, Reynolds Hall, 6:50 p.m.
Alcohol and possible drug paraphernalia were removed from the area.

Friday, Dec. 21
Drug Violation, 36th Street, 10:01 a.m.
Drugs and drug paraphernalia were found in the area.

Thursday, Dec. 27
Fire, Village C , 2:36 p.m.
A fire on the loading dock of Village C was extinguished by the D.C. Fire Department. The fire was caused by an electrical light. No injuries or severe damage was reported.

Tuesday, Jan. 1
Breaking and Entering, New North, 9:05 a.m.
A report was filed with DPS in reference to a damaged vending machine. There were no suspects or witnesses identified.

Theft, New North, 1:45 p.m.
The complainant reported the theft of a laptop.

Thursday, Jan. 3
Theft, Leavey Center, 4:35 p.m.
The complainant reported the unauthorized removal of a computer hard drive.

Monday, Jan. 7
Department Information, Harris Building, 4:54 p.m.
The complainant reported the theft of a GPS navigational system.

Tuesday, Jan. 8
Theft, 33rd Street NW , 2:03 p.m.
The complainant reported the theft of a laptop and jewelry from a residence.

Theft, Copley Hall, 4:42 p.m.
The complainant reported the theft of electronic game equipment.
