GU Jumps to 20th in College Rankings

Georgetown University moved up one spot to 20th in the U.S. News and World Report annual college rankings, which were announced this morning.
Georgetown, which has consistently gained one spot each year for the last two years, tied with Emory University and the University of California, Berkeley for 20th on the national university list.
The category encompasses schools that offer a full range of undergraduate majors and master’s and Ph.D. programs as well as significant research contributions.
The rankings were calculated based on undergraduate academic reputation, student retention rate, faculty resources, student selectivity, financial resources and alumni giving.
