Thursday, September 10

Theft, White Gravenor Hall, 4:14 p.m. The complainant reported the theft of her laptop, which was last seen in a White Gravenor classroom on Sept. 8. The complainant filed a report with DPS and MPD. No suspects or witnesses have been identified.

Trash Can Fire, New South Hall, 8:10 p.m. A report was filed with DPS regarding a trash can fire in the area of New South. The cause of the fire was deemed to be a lit cigarette being tossed in with the trash. The fire was extinguished. The damage was limited to the items in the trash can. No injuries were reported.

Theft, LXR Hall, 10:02 p.m. The complainant reported the theft of her wallet. The wallet was left unattended in a restroom. No suspects or witnesses have been identified.

Sunday, September 13

Unlawful Entry, Village A, 2:00 a.m. An unknown male entered into a residence without permission. He was later apprehended outside of the residence, identified and barred from the university. MPD was notified.

Motor Vehicle Theft, 35th Street and Dent Place, NW, 4:58 p.m. A university golf cart that had been reported stolen was recovered in the area of Dent Place. The starter had been pulled away from the dashboard. The damaged golf cart was transported back to campus. No suspects or witnesses have been identified.

Monday, September 14

Burglary, Village A, 3:58 p.m. The complainant reported the theft of her laptop from her residence while she was sleeping. There were no signs of forced entry; the complainant stated she left a window open. No other items were reported missing. No suspects and witnesses have been identified.
