Burglary Reported in Reiss

A laptop was stolen in a burglary of an office in Reiss Science Building Friday morning, the Department of Public Safety reported.

According to a DPS public safety alert emailed to the campus community around 11 a.m. Friday, a university employee left the laptop in the office Thursday evening. He discovered that the laptop was missing when he returned at 8:20 a.m. Friday, though there was no evidence of forced entry into the office.

According to the PSA, the Metropolitan Police Department was notified and responded to the scene. There are no known suspects in the incident.
