Student Reports Verbal Harrassment

A Georgetown student was allegedly verbally harassed with homophobic slurs at the intersection of S and 37th Streets early Saturday evening, according to a Metropolitan Police Department report.

Five Incidents Reported to DPS Over Summer

July saw the majority of reported summer crimes, with four burglaries and a sexual assault reported to university safety that month.

The first alleged burglary occurred on July 5 in the Leavey Center. The complainant reported seeing the male suspect hiding in Vital Vittles as he was unlocking the door but reported no items stolen from the store.
