To the Editor:

Georgetown’s very own Marriott hotel on campus ought to be condemned for its failure to host a conference on terrorism by the We the People’s Truth Forum. They claim to fear the protests and loss of business such a controversial subject might bring, but make no mention of the silencing of dialogue on such an important subject that they cause with such a decision.

The way the Georgetown Marriott so easily dismisses students and residents as inherently violent is offensive enough, but the fact that they are not furthering dialogue on an important world issue is downright contemptible.
