The editorial “No Other Option” (The Hoya, Nov. 3, 2009, A2) was perfectly titled, but for all the wrong reasons.

Georgetown ought to keep workers’ rights in mind. It can show that it has a real commitment to doing so by taking action.

A good costume (i.e., not a scantily clad nurse) has the same effect as a well-phrased Facebook status — it lets people know we are witty and pop-culturally savvy.

Our thinking should capture that link between the current, the past and the future. In probing the past, we discern those lessons only revealed over time and import their wisdom to our current day.

A student was verbally harassed on the basis of perceived sexual orientation near the intersection of 37th and Prospect Streets, the victim reported to the Department of Public Safety early Monday morning. In a Public Safety Alert, DPS said the student was approached and harassed by four unknown males.
