Burglary Reported in Med Dent Building

A burglary occurred in the Med Dent Building this afternoon, according to a Department of Public Safety alert.

A faculty member left her office at 1 p.m. and when she returned approximately 30 minutes later, she discovered that a cell phone and a purse with cash and credit cards had disappeared from her desk.

Her office door and desk had been left unlocked.

DPS is investigating the incident.
