Two laptops were stolen this morning from adjacent rooms in Copley Hall, according to a Department of Public Safety alert.
The burglary occurred between 11:13 and 11:30 a.m. when the victim was asleep. The door was not locked. According to the alert, a source described the suspect as a black female about 18 to 24 years old with curly black, shoulder-length hair and of average height and build. She was reported to be wearing a black hooded jacket, jeans and gray New Balance shoes and carrying a navy handbag with a brown handle. The Metropolitan Police Department responded to the incident.
This latest burglary comes after a string of burglaries hit Harbin, McCarthy and Copley Halls last month. DPS Chief of Police Jay Gruber said previously that the department is looking at two separate suspects in those cases.
