The Georgetown women’s golf team ended its season with a strong finish last week at the Ross Resorts Invitation in Southern Pines, N.C. Coming in fourth place with a score of 70 over par, 934, for 52 holes, it was the team’s best performance of the season.

The Georgetown men's golf team played this past weekend at the Fighting Irish Gridiron Classic, hosted by Notre Dame at Warren Golf Course in South Bend, Ind. The Hoyas finished in 15th place, posting a 54-hole score of 924, which is 84-over par.

A recent survey by the Nielsen Company lists Washington, D.C., as the most popular destination for the young and wealthy looking for a home.

Patty Post, head coach of the Georgetown women’s golf team, was named the Northeast winner of the annual coach of the year award by the Ladies Professional Golf Association’s Teaching and Club Professional Membership this past summer.
